Awesome! Think how cool it would be to see infected marine carcases and spreading more deadly fungi that infect other marines and drives them mad....and somehow makes them want to climb as high as possible :p

Wouldn't this make sense more for the aliens? Maybe, marine biological warfare?

i was thinking on how one could adapt this fungi to work with the DI somehow. Like turning dead marines left on DI into defensive traps or similar. I think it would add a lot to the atmosphere of the game, and also make the DI even cooler.

I dunno about the psychedelic gameplay effects though...would probably be even more annoying than the flamethrower :p

    Anyways.....maybe for NS 3 :D

Edit: Also, the gorge could have the ability to drag marine bodies into position for possible defensive/offensive traps. Would give the gorge more stuff to do besides healing structures not connected to hive DI.

    Yeah! The Kharaa are superbugs!

I think it would be really cool to turn Marines corpses against their former allies, like what the Corrupter used to do before SC2 went beta.

Gorge definately needs a stronger role. Spamming hydra is not much fun.. 'Corpse explosion' is a fantastic idea!
