Once aliens begin to get Onos (Oni? ;) ) available and hives become nigh on impenetrable fortresses, the marines are going to rely on the commander to find the secret ways in, to get those MASCs in position, to ensure that everyone is fully stocked ready for the next alien push.
The games got a ways to go, and issues such as lack of teamplay and things like that could yet change drastically when a big ass rhino with near on 1000 hit points starts steamrolling into people. I mean, aside from siege cannons and res towers what did the commander in NS1 ever do which hasn't been catered for in NS2?
This thread is covering about the only thing which has changed, and the rest by the end will be the same!
