'Feature Complete' Release Event

With the 'alpha', 'beta' and 'chistmas' sales events used up, and a steam release still some time away, seems like one more big and significant pre-release sales event could be useful.


In forums outside UW, there are a large group of people (probably 20% of current pre-orderers), aware of NS2, but holding off on purchase until its feature complete.


Might be a good opportunity to dig into that emotion and base a sales event on it.

It is mainly just a title for telling people that the game got all the features planned for the final version. Then there can be added some additional features. Think of it like... maybe a human. They are born feature complete, but then they grow extra features like teeths and hair (which glitches after some time, making that feature get removed).

Feature complete pertains to a specific version. It describes the point at which software will deliver all functionality outlined in the requirements for that version.

Philosoraptor suffers from an inability to separate versions as discrete chunks. Feature complete 1.0 is different from feature complete 2.0.
