Wierd bugs

I am getting all kinds of sound bugs (the fire sounds like a high clicking now). When I bite or hit smoething, it now looks like a giant explosion. When I get hurt by gas it looks like green goo goes all over me, but I cant see the spore clouds. Is this really what is meant to happen? Anyone else experance this?

Edit: I am just going to delete all my local content and try to redownload ns2, maybe that will work.

Yes this happened to me when I first got b162. It eventually went away after restarting the game twice.

redownloading everything seemed to fix the problem
