FT through walls?

<div class="IPBDescription">Bug?</div>I was playing rockdown as a Lerk in the West wing sitting on top of the ceiling platform (not sure what you would call it)where you can see the power node and hive/command location on either side. I was sitting right it the middle where I was nowhere near an edge. Along comes a flamer and I didn't even see the flame come up above the edge of the platform yet I catch on fire and die.
This needs to be fixed.

    Yes they can fire through walls, also a reason why the flamethrower is so powerfull. It fire not only through walls, but everything. That's why when you point the FT at the hive, everything burns. Fixing this will be the best nerf for the flamethrower.

    It does the same dmg as melee, which isn't really that great (1dmg/hit). Neither do grenades btw... (nearly 10dmg/hit)

    Also an ammo counter on the FT would be nice, I have no clue when I need to reload and how many reloads I have..

    It could also be a chamber ability or other upgrade to be flame-retardant for players where you still take FT damage but don't keep burning. Doesn't solve firing through walls but might help a bit with the imbalances.
