Movement fidelity / smoothness

So this latest build is a VERY NICE improvement :D game is quiet playable!

Now that you can play some things have become more obvious.

For me if feels like player movement (yourself and others) is still not very smooth... I get a pretty good frame rate 30-60fps (i7 950 5850), good ping and on a server with a constant 30 tick rate and even with the frame rate at 60fps it still feels like the movement / animations are running at 15-30fps.. I'm not sure if anyone here played Quakewars but so far NS2 seems to have the same feel to me as this game did which was one of the biggest problems of that game.. The reasons quake wars had that feel was because the engine was updating at 30 ticks per seconds regardless of frame rate..

I understand there is still lots of optimizations to do and hopefully this will help improve it but currently this is one of the biggest issues for me.

    Feels like Ns2 is actually here, It's alot better and can't wait for next weeks release!

    I do agree that It's not smooth yet. almost though.

    Hat goes off to the programmers this week. Best release yet!!!
