Where to start?

Hi, I made a couple maps back in the day for cs1.6 and ns1.

I tried getting started in the spark editor, but I cant even find my way around to make an object or a room. I'm looking for tutorials but most of them are for when your already half done with your map, can someone point me towards a more, How to Get Started Tutorial? thanks in advance.

Also moving around in the perspective window is easy as pie:


Press and hold rightclick, then use WASD to move around. Just like in most FPS games, it kinda works like Sketchup, but with some differences...
