Spawn at Origin?

My level was working fine with player_starts before build 152, but now when I load up my map I am stuck at (what I can only guess is) the origin of my map. Console commands do not appear to work, either.

Thoughts?

    I'm having similar issues. I can spawn in the readyroom, but when I walk into a team join it switches to the team and doesn't teleport me to spawn just leaves me in the RR??

    I had the team starts setup working fine for 151 this only became an issue since the patch.

    Also getting a bunch of errors spamming console for the infanty portal stop effect or something like that?

    Strange you should not have any issues that the official maps dont have.

    How do you have your player_starts and team_location ents setup, how many?

    Back in 151 I would spawn at origin when I didn't have team_locations, player starts (16 iirc), and techpoint locations set for specific teams but that is since fixed. Do the team_location entities have to encompass the player starts now?

    Your player starts should be inside the range of the team_locations

    For some strange reason the start ip on my level was on the outside of a wall. i rotated the tech-point 90 degrees and it seems okay. That is the only thing i changed and everything else was working fine.

    16 player_starts within range of one team_location set to neutral.

    Worked just fine before the patch.

    What's the noclip command so I can unstick myself?

    My readyroom and teamjoin works fine. I just added the teamjoin entities with the new patch though.

    Btw: Do custom maps appear in the create game map menu already?
    My map only has like 8 spawnpoints of each kind (instead of 2x16 and 32 rr spawns) and no groundwaypoints yet, and it doesn't show up.

    "spectate" should work, I don't remember a noclip command.

    No, The map menu does not yet auto detect installed levels.


    DarkATi, Try setting them to Marine Only & Alien Only, the closest teck points to your spawnins too. Maybe Neutral is broken?

    Odd, I deleted the IPs I had placed and now it works fine...

    ohes, Thats what you did.

    Okay, Thought it was common knowlage but yeh, You dont place down any of the "structure entites" in your map other than just Res Nodes and Tech Points.

    Still having this problem. "Spectate" in console does nothing. Can't move. :(
