When you're in the entity properties for the door in Hammer select "Up" or "Down" in the Angle drop-down menu.

Speaking of doors... I have a door that has two parts, one side goes up, and the other goes down. I use func_door for my door and func_button for my button. Just that how do u get the door to stay open and be able to push the button to get it to close? How do u get the door to have like a 1 second delay before it opens? Also when i jump in my door when its closing it messes up when it tries to close, when it does close i push the button again and it opens all retarded. <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo--> Am i doing my doors wrong? How do you all do your doors?

Well now i'm using func_train and path_corners for my map. Works better. Does anyone how to make a 1 second delay before it actually opens?

hmm... there is a delay before fire on my func_button but not on func_train. If i change the button one it just takes longer before it can be used again (u prob. know that). Should i just use func_door?

yes, in the flags for func_door set it to toggle, this means untill you fire that trigger again it won't move.
