The movie is in 60FPS so you might wanna make sure you've got latest gfx drivers and newest VLC (if you're using it) so you could possibly use your graphics card to do the decoding. In VLC settings, make sure both in VLC video and Input&Codecs, you're using hardware-accelerations for decoding. I recommend closing all other pgorams aswell. Just take task manager and go down the list.
