Remember just post your Bnet accounts, I don't care for anything else.

Oh yes, if you post with a new NS account (june or younger) I will ignore you.

After second thought, PM me the accounts....

Might be a silly question, but do you need an active WoW account to play this? I have a blizzard account but cancelled my WoW years ago.

I just poked around, and you do need an active account at least for the opt-in beta, so I would assume Panigg's keys would also require this.

That is my assumption as well. The question is whether I can wait and see if I get in, or if I need to resub now.

I'd love to get into the beta, because I just came back to WoW and my gear isn't really good enough for most of ICC and I don't want to bother to grind up just for it all to be obsolete in a few more short months, soo... getting a sneak peek at things to come seems like the obvious solution!

I got about a quarter, actually a bit more, of the way into heroic icc25. Unfortunately my guilds have a tendency to fall apart during summer breaks. E.g. go on a 16 day vacation to America and come back to an empty guild :P.

I think I'll let Cataclysm surprise me. The beta would probably spoil too much of the experience for me.

At least you're not around to watch all the petty, petty drama unfold. I honestly don't know why anyone even bothers with guild banks, all they are is money for the GM to make off with when the guild implodes. Seen it happen enough times by now.

I used to have a guild with an awesome guild bank and the guild lasted for almost 4 years then they merged:)

Oh, for people who don't have a wow account on your bnet, Paniggs invites do work :D
To access the "Character Copy" screen you'll need to add a wow trial account to your bnet account, then try again.
Unfortunately it appears that template characters are not currently available so I guess we're starting at 1.. but if they come back later we should be able to use them? Maybe?

Also the email could have easily ended up in your spam filter. I've been getting hundreds of "Cataclysm beta invite" phishing emails in my spam filter every month since May.
As lolfighter said, just check your bnet account, if Panigg invited you it should just show up there. Ignore all emails.

<i>Confirmed.</i> I went and sifted through my spam folder, and among all the fake ones I did find an email that even after close inspection still looks real. I'm staying away from the URLs anyway, just to be safe, but it does seem like gmail, at least, might filter real emails as spam.

on that subject, I just googled "wow armory" looking for the wow armory, and there was a sponsored link for the wow armory. I clicked it and tried searching for something and it asked me to log in. I almost fell for it. I looked at the URL and it was definitely not the WoW armory.

Can't even trust Google these days! Letting phishing sites buy ads!
