Got a crazy idea to add a honeycomb wrap around the egg. Here is an example:

that is a cool looking egg, but im thinking the ones UWE created will look a lot better when they are resting on infestation.

Speaking of eggs and infestation, I find the lack of infestation texture on the egg and Drifter to be somewhat effy. Though, they are intermediate/infant stages of Kharaa evolution... anyone else shares this opinion?

I have no doubts that the art will be polished further along in development, however.
