roofing visible in commander mode?

Is it just me that's having this issue, or is the roofing in maps visible for everyone in commander mode? If this is a feature, it severely gimps the commander since he has no clear vision on what's going on on the ground...Or will this be removed in future updates?

The mapper can hide anything from the commander view, so it's an oversight, I suppose.

i feel like sometimes it has the opposite effect, invisible ceilings sometimes make it so that you drop medpacks/ammo on inaccessible rafters etc. would it be possible for them to show as translucent, with a slight amount of opacity?

I don't think that's possible yet, but it will be, in the future (according to the official mapping guidelines).

Yes, the plan is that the mappers will eventually be able to control the opacity of specific props/level geometry, so they can set some things like the big robot arm gantry in Tram's MS to be semi transparent, so you still can see that its there. Also there will be the ability to make sure that the commander can't collide with those objects, so no dropping medpack on top of girders by accident, etc. I believe Charlie may have actually fixed something related to that, already.

I had the Macs building up top..
also had them building OUTSIDE the map.. it seems they go through the glass and I had them way outside on the towers.
