At the moment, Max has to really focus his time on the game, and not so much on the tools. However, our mappers have compiled a pretty large list of requests and fixes for the editor, based on their experiences using it. You can rest assured that any issues you are having with it, they have probably experienced x10 more, at least, and Max will eventually get to fixing them.

This reminds me of this joke:

There are three kinds of people in the universe: the ones that can count and the ones that can't.

I think you're referring to 2 people not three, and binary not count.

There are many variations on that joke. And you screwed it up anyway, if you're going with the binary version it's 10 people.

There are 10 kinds of people. Those who know trinary, those who don't, and those who only think in binary.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed, whenever I play as a Gorge and build a Hydra if I press the use key to build faster I get sparks as though I'm building a marine structure.

Just though I'd point that out as a possible bug/error.

You need to use GetSatisfaction / F1 in-game to report bugs.

Yeah thought as much, its kind of good to hear theres a big list waiting to be looked at though, at least then you know some of it should be taken care of in time, i noticed there was a change to the editor in the latest patch, if we just had one thing done every patch or so that would be great.

Those options aren't mutually exclusive. 100% of the people already fall into the first two categories, so anyone who "only thinks in binary" must necessarily know trinary (or not). And a person cannot be a different kind of person from himself :P

edit: I guess it's okay if the "binary thinkers" category only contains the null set, otherwise my nitpick stands

already enjoyed a great 4 hours last night and it felt like AAA title.. well done and cant wait to see what performance optimizations occur in the next patch.
    thanks guys

On the mapping front it seems like someone can't place a ladder correctly and test it on Tram.

It also seems that after further inspection, fades keep blinking in to walls at the seams. On Rockdown I managed to get in to the walls at the areas where for some reason unexplained to me or as to why, the rectangles have been split in to triangles, allowing blink to get stuck in the wall at the middle seam. If anyone else is willing to load the editor up, look (particularly round the tech point right of marine spawn at the back) where the seams are and give it a go would be helpful.

I do think the re-worked marine spawn, surrounding area and lighting is looking much better on Tram.

I'm going to ignore the insulting way in which you phrased this, and simply ask if you can elaborate on which ladders and what the problem is, so we can look into it.

    thanks.

Unless you updated tram in this release I don't recall tram having any ladders anyway...

Maybe there was one in the double res room to get out from under the vent crawlspace? Honestly can't remember.

I love the new art and the new tram marine start gives a familiar feel of the original NS. Although the ladder in marine start has some issues trying to get off from the top.

Really loved the 'DI' style stuff in Rockdown's alien spawn hive, looked very cool.
