my wishlist
Dropped this in the Twitter thread as well, but here it is again! Most of these have been suggested already.

Breadcrumb path on the ground to follow that pulses forward along the path (a la UT3)

Path on the minimap+map of the path given

Queued up waypoints to help make an explicit path or give a series of goals

Different types of waypoints, especially to distringuish ones that are merely to help make a more detailed path versus the actual goal destination

Ability for the Marine to clear their waypoints so when they become redundant over time it isn't clogging up their UI

Developers would never have thought of allowing a new-player assisting function to be disabled without you around to remind them.

The unreal 3 method is nice, one of the best things about the game actually, and any other game based on the engine because they all seem to use it.
