    Hm, maybe we should do a re-do with Align's poll. I was trying to get a similar system due to the modifiers, but I didn't want to get stuck in modifier land.

    However, Align broke it up very nicely.

    4 is the best option imo.

    There must be times where a marine isnt 100% aware of his surroundings so aliens can sneak up and kill them... Otherwise a huge part of NS1's epicness concerning - fear - will be lost...

    MACs should only be able to build things within a certain range of the command station to build later upgrade buildings or base defence - which is a very boring thing to do for a marine since he wont be attacked within the base anyway...

    At the frontline only marines should be able to build.

    Concerning Gorges - I think they should be able to build and place RTs as well as DCs, their current job is basically non existant imo... The alien commander takes the Gorge's job in the current design
