NS2 Marine movement (feel)

So I have been playing around in the alpha version of NS2, I am impressed with the direction of the game. It doesn't have that "corporate sellout" feeling, when I am playing it, the NS team left those core elements that make leave skill intact while getting the fun factor immersion.

My biggest concern from what I have seen is the movement of the marine and bunny hopping. I'd really like to jump while I am in sprint and have the animation of when you hit sprint and move it's more fluid like how Call of Duty 4 is. I find it feels a a bit delayed and you get stuck with a second of being prone and can't shoot, jump, reload etc.

Being able to sprint + jump or shoot would allow this game to feel a lot more action packed, or if possible, at least allow us to sprint jump, that way it doesn't feel like I am being restricted to how I should move in the game. I am sure most people that played NS1, loved Quake, Unreal Tournament, CS 1.6 days, how everything was more fluid than modern day games.

    Being able to sprint+shoot would give marines a needlessly unfair advantage in situations where it'd be most useful - namely in those where they were stupid enough to let a skulk close with them.

    Maybe we should give skulks a button to push that pops a machine gun out of their ass to hose down marines when they're at range?

    I'd like to see something like a shaking animation while normal walk, "dynamic walking" something like that
