Typing outside of the game..

<div class="IPBDescription">gets relayed into the game?</div>I typed my password on IRC to connect to my bouncer while I was connecting to a game, and everything including that that I had typed into my mIRC was relayed as white text into the chat part of the game.

What gives? This seems dangerous.

EDIT: I can't seem to get it to happen again.

I've noticed the numberpad is not recognized in the game. I tried to type in an IP address, but won't work unless I used the numbers on the standard keyboard. And yes, numlock was enabled.

Some special characters such as periods and commas do not work, but others such as question marks do.

Yes, I know "**** happens" but that wasn't the point of the post, I was simply attempting to point out that it could be an issue.

heh, on a similar note the enter key counts as a character when typing passwords for servers. I typed the password and pressed enter and instead of connecting the server it typed and new invisible character.
