The NS2 Alpha, Linux, WINE and Steam...

So...when I download the NS2 Alpha via Steam/Wine combo...and maybe a year later you guys release a linux version of NS2...am I able to play it (maybe steam is available for linux by then or you give us a normal download)? Or do I've to re-purchase the game?

oh and am I allowed to test the game with wine?

    Currently, the alpha doesn't seem to run under Wine. I encourage you to try it out and report your experience, though.

    I have the same error repeated here with wine 1.2. I hope someone will find a fix to go forward and maybe play. Who knows ? We can see what there is in device.c at line 5332.
