Successfull 2 games were played as a alien and a rine :)

Firstly, I didnt connect any servers,
But by setting graphics low (i.e. ridiculously awfull, 800x600, windowed) I success to play an internet game by joining a personal server with "ns2_rockdown" map . "ns2_Tram" maps has some issues so generally you are not able to connect those servers, others are laggy.
With my son we started a LAN game easily, and game works fine. I go rine, build structures and watch gorge.
In a second game, On the alien side I evolve to gorge, lerk and i can also command Hive, build structures etc.
I think alpha is not tested on low speed internet connections thats why you mostly you can not connect.
LAN works good, ofcourse there are bugs.
There are a lot of bugs but I'm gonna wait next 2 or 3 updates to report.
I recommend you to restart all maps after the end of game. LAN games are better for now.
Be patient, this is alpha, NS2 will be good. I'm sure Max will release new alpha ASAP.
