Connection problem solve?

Hey there, like a lot of you i had a connection problem. Kept getting stuck at loading. Then i tried joining a pass protected server and it worked just fine and smooth. So what the problem? Simple, too many people want to join full server, creating udge lag to the so running server. 2 - some server are not even strong enough to handle all the request from players. Some people says that their server receive 50 demand in 10 sec, this is impossible for a server to handle this! anyone got ideas?
