Did I get the correct edition for Alpha?

When I entered my CDKey into STEAM it said, "Thank you for participating in the NS2 Beta", when I pre-ordered the Alpha(Special Edition).

Is this the correct confirmation message?

STEAM considers NS2 to be a "Beta" game even though this is really only an ALPHA.
