    This has already been answered, although I don't know where or the exact quote, but the engine test will turn to the alpha. However, since most the files have been changed since the engine test was released most files will be re-downloaded to be updated, but you might save a little bandwidth.

    It was answered <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=110105&view=findpost&p=1781177" target="_blank">here</a>. It's pretty much what was already answered: it's going to be an update of the engine test, but most of the file will be re-downloaded.
