black marine armor
Thinking that the black marine armor might provide a slight advantage to the wearer on darker and dimly lit maps - What do you think?NS2_Kleos

Also, I'm guessing that most players who bought the special edition are the more 'serious' NS players who have honed their skills to a razor sharp edge for the last 8 years. These players will likely be playing the alpha for an ungodly number of hours and be veterans of NS2 by the time the retail goes gold. New players might complain that the black armour gave them an unfair advantage when the players skill has much more of an impact on the gameplay.
Of course one could always remove their black armour to prove that it wasn't the minor camouflage bonus that resulted in the alien player's undoing... but that'd just be rubbing it in.
Also wrong forum, even if the NS2 forum is still missing a lot of things currently :P
