I just preordered NS2 with the announcement of the release date and decided to try out the pre-alpha version.
I'm having some major problems with the sound though... basically 1 of 2 things happen.
1) When I fire the gun the shooting sound just loops over and over and won't stop until I quit the game
2) There's no sound at all whatsoever
Is this a known issue or do I have something weird here? I have a pretty good computer so not quite sure why this is happening.

It's just a bug. There's nothing wrong with your computer.
The pre-alpha is not going to be fixed.
