Sound bug

First off, i apologize if this does exist and i missed it, but it would be nice if there could be a separate section in the forms to report pre-alpha/alpha bugs.

The problem ive encountered is an endless sound loop, if i hold down the attack button so the rifle fires multiple rounds the soundfile will play endlessly(yes even after i stop firing). Firing single bullets (clicking the mouse for each individual shell) does not create this problem.
The only way to stop the sound from playing is to quit ns2 and restart the program.

Comp specs:

Win XP pro SP2 (cant upgrade further)
Asus P5b
Sound Blaster Audigy 2
XFX Geforce GTX 260
4 gigs ddr2 ram (dual channel mode)

There are quite a few posts about the sound problem, and I think someone posted a work around in one of them.

Also, note that they have explicitly stated they are not updating the Engine Test anymore and hopefully all bugs will be resolved (including engine optimizations) for the Alpha.

Unfortunately, we don't know when the actual alpha comes out yet. =[

Oh, and I'm sure the alpha will have PLENTY of bugs of its own.

    PS: Welcome to the forums!
