Deleting points on lines

When using the extrude tool more than once it makes these lines on a face. You can delete the lines okay but then there are these points on the line, how do you get rid of them? They are very annoying and I am sure they have a performance impact if you had enough of them on larger levels.

Pull both points down to the bottom corner point so you have 3 at the same exact spot, Use the Arrow Tool to Draw a selection box over that corner then hit CTRL+W

    Thanks, worked like a charm.

Don't forget, you can always delete them and redraw the line. If you missing faces, select the border lines of where you want the face then hit alt+c. you might need to flip the face, that can be done with ctrl+f.

That might sound like the longway around and on a simple corner, it is, but when your working with complex geometry it's faster then dragging verts around :p And manually creating faces is robust as hell, it'll create a face in the strangest of shapes without problem.
