<div class="IPBDescription">Abbreviations for in the game.</div>My favorite I have come up with is H.E.X.O., it rolls off the tongue easily and only has two syllables. Plus you do not have to pause when you say it.
Other obvious ones are just saying E.X.O., or Heavy, but they do not encompass the full title of what it(the power armor) is actually called. Plus it sounds a little more intimidating, like that it has supernatural powers or something.
My vote is for H.E.X.O. to be the official abbreviation.
I welcome for anyone else to propose their own, and give a short explanation.

It doesn't really matter whether you include 'heavy' anywhere unless there is also a non-heavy exoskeleton in the game. If the heavy exoskeleton is the only exoskeleton, just call it the exo suit or just exo.
Also most people tend to drop their starting H's anyway, so enforcing hexo is most likely just going to get people pronouncing it ''exo' as in 'eavy exoskeleton'.
Having said that, i like "Hexo" or just "Hex" :P
That is my other option.
LOLZ!!! will be had.

My favorite are the Ghost's.

marine light infantry combat exos<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
it was once a heavy armor mod using the ALICE combat powerloader of avp2, making it heavy armor sized without making it look to stupid.
bam..the malice was born
oh, and i dont really like the "heavy" in exoskeleton... it is heavy armored, but that doesnt make it a heavy exos.. a heavy exoskeleton would be the size of a friggen landmate, and not really useful in a more or less human scaled indoor enviroment
wait.. i remember the crappy sega game of that..but the exo designs were quite dope
I like this one.
I'll probably still call them heavies though.
M stands for "Marine", obviously.
A stands for attackers
R stands for regenerating/rocket-propelled
I stands for indestructible/invisible/invincible.
N stands for natural-selection
E stands for effective/eva-compatible/exosuit.
Or Rainbow team.
Or Rainbow team.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
why was i reading rainbow team and spontaneously thinking "sausage train"?
its meant to be the backgroundstory name.. the gameplay therm is something different of course..
.....rainbow team train really needs the YMCA tune playing while walking to the hive... or ..."in the navy"
You have a filthy mind, is why.

<b>This</b>, is what I was going for.
I expect NS2 to be like the L4D "Plot/Story" where the map and background log(like computer monitor text in the map) entries to tell the story.
Also I assume the mandatory single player tutorial maps to give a brief background of the TSA and the Kharaa. <----- Just waiting for that blog post to drop the news.
For all the fear mongers (Renegade), A.I. code is already in the game; the Welderbot and M.A.S.C.(have not seen ingame yet though) of course.
Don't lie to yourself, you know you would jump up and do a dance and party in your head if Flayra said Babblers were, in, for NS2.
I never really liked the babblers, they where like dumbfire rockets after all.
