Yes DI is still in, it is just not in the Logo, because it takes way too much time and they didn't want a 25 second logo for some 20 second videos, it felt silly.

We'll probably just download manual patches until the game is officially on Steam.

Pretty sure it uses the same system as the editor.

Which for anyone who isnt familiar with the editor, upon opening it'll prompt you to auto-dl the patcn to update right then and there.

Music stingers - does this mean when a group of marines takes down a hive some boxy speakers in that room will start pealing out loud music for all in the area to hear, or does it mean individual players sometimes get a bit of music?
Shared, location-based music (with environmental effects) would be cool if timed right!

The Music is genius. It gave me chills. Keep up the awesome work!

Games have been getting progressively worse as the major corporations take over and shut down the small independent studios. Money does not equal better games.

I sincerely hope that what you guys are doing will inspire others to revolutionize the industry. We don't need mass marketing and console driven sales. You are continuing to prove that a great idea, talent and player support is all you need to create an epic game.

    We love you guys.

I absolutely love the music. If the rest of the music produced has the same quality and intensity it would be truly epic.

Really pumped about the engine test and updates to follow. I haven't yet downloaded it, but I will soon. Thanks for the music track too.

I just installed the steam version onto my laptop (specs below) and it was sadly unplayable on ridiculously awful :(
The hallways were especially bad. I'm sure you guys aren't done tuning the game yet, but I hope the final game runs a bit better.

    Laptop specs
    Windows 7 32bit on a macbook
    4GB DDR3
    2.4Ghz core 2 duo
Nvidia 9400M w/ bootcamp 3.1 driver (real nvidia drivers break my installs)
