    I imagine that it might be possible to run it through steam for the multiplayer needs but being it is pre alpha content it should not need to.

    I don't think that torrent is real, the seeder is not located in the USA. I would expect that the first seeder would be in the USA seeing how it a USA company....

    e181226114.adsl.alicedsl.de is the host name of the seeder, I think that says it all.

    It may not be a virus but you'd have to be extremely desperate to run around in the engine test maps by yourself to get it before they officialy release it, just wait for the real thing pps.
