Squad Leader/Field Commander

is the second commander going to be in another chair like the main comm? or more like a squad leader/sergeant? cause the latter is what i would prefer. the more i thought about it, the more a squad leader made more sense to me. i know this idea has been in a couple of topics, but not specifically this. i remember one idea that kept coming up was building things on walls, which frankly seems silly and gimiky to me, so here are some ideas i was thinking about for this kind of field commander person:
-able to dispense ammo and meds to their squad mates (maybe not himself so people protect him?)
-always have a welder or mines or something
-jumps to the front of the respawn queue (as an upgrade called "Back To The Front"?)
-has personal mt, but only for a certain range. i.e. if an alien gets too close to the squad leader, a blip shows up on the squad leader's radar so he can tell his squad to be on alert
these are only the best ideas ive come up with, ive had some others worth considering (like dropping some structures) but ive decided against them for whatever reason. i dont want to step on the main commanders shoes or anything like that, just to have someone who is good at assisting his squad mates in the field and can keep the marines focused on the main objective the first commander told them to do (cap a node, push a hive from one side, etc...). mainly, i want this squad leader to alleviate some of the microing needs of the commander so that he can concentrate more on overall strategy and execution, rather than medding people who get parasited.
these ideas are all open to interpretation, and can be either something the squad leader starts with, or something that the main commander has to upgrade for him

The game is planned to have a second commander available for marines as the game progresses.
I'd prefer a squad leader sort of role.
