What to Do While Waiting for NS2

I'm sure we are all anxious to play any form of game resembling aliens munching on marines (AvP aside). Consequently, we waste a lot of time. I mean that seven day period between blog updates just doesn't cut it. Thus, I've provided a graph demonstrating a typical (me) NS2 player in all their related endeavors.

As you can see, my main advice to you guys is: Play the good ole NS1!! It will calm you down a bit. Seriously.

    Except when people start making stupid decisions, commander doesn't know what to do, aliens don't work together, and stuff like that.

    Sure it will but the big difference is that we won't be stressed from waiting for NS2 ;)

    The NS1 I play nowadays is a pale imitation of the release NS1 that I loved to death. Far from calming me down, it usually just makes me feel frustrated. "Oh look some guy got three kills and went Fade, GG". I miss the good old days and NS2 so far looks to be closer to the original NS1 than the creature it is today.

    Plus there's only two Australasian servers that ever have people on them, and they're usually playing Combat. Modified Combat at that. I think I was playing against a Fade with Devour the other day.

    I still play alot of NS1 on the ABLEns.net server. But I'm going through Borderlands, Bioshock 2 (which are both fantastic!) and SC2 beta, which is turning out to be a great sequel, shame about some of the unit cuts! :(

    Funny and silly this thread is but how about somebody really make a pool on some site with these questions ( maybe more ) and see what we do while waiting NS2


    Personally i : Play NS 1 50 % Make map for ns2 10% Refreshing NS forum 10 % other games 30 %

    i fell sorry for people, if they ONLY thinks about NS2 ^^ try imaging if you cant stop thinking about it:o

    i mean the hours will fell like days and the days like years^^
    and then lets say: if NS2 was canceled :o (which i highly doubt it will)

    Well I've been working alot lately, but whenever I get the chance I play Starcraft II! Also Killing Floor has taken some of my time away.
    Also, I am trying to get back into 3dsmax.
