Please send an email to community@unknownworlds.com with what file is trying to infect you as my virus scanner is catching nothing. Might be a false positive.

I'll do that tomorrow, just confirming that it is not a false positive.
Bitdefender 2010 32bit up-to-date and legit, kept blocking the virus each time I tried.

Just don't open the thread.. but it's your computer after all.

    Bump 4 Relevance.

Also, how do you catch a virus from a thread? Do forums allow Flash/HTML or something?

Seriously, it's the first time I've blocked something from a forum thread but since it can happen quite easily when you simply open a web page I guess this is relatively the same process. I know nothing about HTML unfortunately.

This is almost definitely a false positive. Such things happen.

Seeing as how the attachment system doesn't even function properly...

Which file does your Anti Virus mark as a Virus?

    Nod32 doesn't see anything.

edit: also, googling "Trojan.Tiebud.E" has only this thread as a hit. Which in virus time means it's most certainly nothing by now.

Yah, a thread itself can't have a virus. It has to be a file in it. This seems to be just a false positive, locking this thread.

As for the attachment system, it works fine, just click on the red 'x' where it says site message. I know, I know :P
