No lighting whatsoever. :/

I'm starting to wonder, if you plan on just sitting out that one bug, because those few ppl that have it might upgrade their hardware eventually...

I wasn't aware of this issue, but we'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible.

What's the problem?

My problem was the yellowing of all of the textures which can be seen in here --> http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/in...howtopic=108393

Since the update its now the lines created where shadowing occurs, which can also be seen in the topic link.

In the new test-room I created they are simply not visible. (And before you ask- they're NOT in a layer. I double checked.)

Can you post a simple map that has this problem?

Sounds great.

Sorry for showing a little impatience there, but this bug exists since the first release of the editor.
Thus I'm also a little surprised that you weren't aware of it.

There is even an extra thread about this issue, which might help further:
http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....howtopic=108274

Also worth mentioning is the fact that the models are also black in the model viewer (lit mode), but seem to display fine in the other modes (albedo, ...).
The light-emitting parts of the models aren't black either.

Absolutely. I PM'd two examples to you. I did notice that in one of the cases you can actually see the props if you're looking at it from the right angle. In the other the props are more or less gone completely while still being there. Sort of. The mail will make more sense :p

For some details check these two threads:
http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/in...howtopic=108274 [description in post #2]

Note that there are also reports about DirectX error messages in those threads.
They are NOT part of the dark/black texture problem!

UWE is what, 3 or 4 people? What percentage of development time is going towards implementing user requests in the level editor? I'm somewhat concerned about this.
