I have create a new forum on my website for Natural Selection. This forum is for german peoples

Nochmal auf Deutsch, ich habe extra ein neues Forum auf meiner Homepage erstellt um sich auch auf Deutsch über dieses Spiel unterhalten zu können. Da ich nicht weiß wie groß die deutsche community ist, habe ich vorerst auf meiner vorhandenen Seite neue Kategorien erstellt. Sollte der Andrang größer sein als erwartet, würde ich mich um ein extra Forum kümmern, mit einem speziellen Design natürlich und eigener Domain.

Ebenfalls suche ich Verstärkung, die Interesse haben sich an diesem Vorhaben zu beteiligen. (Co-Admin, Moderatoren)

    I don't really agree with that though, sooner have everyone learn Latin. Respect needs to be given to the Germans for their excellent philosophy and hermeneutics!

    Back then...at the time of 1.04-2.1 there was quite a big german community and a forum (modguide). But then the forum closed and the community fell apart more or less. There is a german forum already (lerk.de) but its almost dead.
    I think there is no need for a german forum anyway. The ns community is small enough to fit in 1 forum: this one

    There is no plans to open any forum for other languages on the official UWE site. But please, go ahead and make fan sites/forums for the other languages.

    there is already <b>lerk.de</b> I think it´s a very bad idea to split up the German community. (or any other) Just wait till there are (hopefully?) more ppl in NS2.

    Ich sprächen nur ein bischen Deutch, aber ich sah nie den Grund, warum ich ihn erlernen sollte. Warum können Sie Deutche Englisch nicht erlernen?

    because we all have to learn it in school.

    Almost 1/3 of the community is German, but I thought about it too splitting the community is stupid, as long as theres no official forum its ok

    2. Site Art doesnt look nice, but its work in progress i guess.

    3a. IF you want people to register, do it by restricted downloads and images. (And fresh interessting content - Content > all)

    4. Your german skills are improveable. (mostly grammar)

    5. This is an english forum, you are not allowed to write in other languages. - I do it, you can do it too.

    Point 1.2.3. - is already the rip for your site, but we ll see.


    You want an open community page for everybody, and not a clan page with hidden forums. Ask yourself, why would anybody want to visit your site, and come back the next day?

    From my Point of view most Germans learn English, but becuase of the lack of using it constantly many have forgotten it. I know many people who are not very well in understanding English, so I think its ok to have German Forums for those who cannot use the English ones. The argument that Germans should learn English if they want to gather information in the Internet is a bit arrogant. There are enough English speaking people who dont want to learn any other languages. In other Games it work too, mainsource of information is the English speaking forum and it's just translated into the german forums. So what's the matter with you guys?

    Update:

    I just visited the Page and I think if you want to be a german homepage you should translate the changelog for those who cannot speak English as well.
