Maping Insperation: Dead Space

Hey guys, looking over all the awesome stuff you've done with Spark reminded me of another game that involves deep space, horrific aliens and surreal ship architecture.
Dead Space.
I don't know how well versed the Natural Selection community is with the horror genre but Dead Space in a nut shell has you playing as an engineer who has to repair a deep space mining vessel. Problem is, somethings gone horribly wrong and the former crew seems to have been taken over by some sort of necromorphic parasite. Insanity and fear ensues.
But what what my main point originally was that Dead Spaces architecture and the way they designed their huge ship in the game was gorgeous and awesome. I think personally, I'd love to see the same sort of style used in Natural Selection 2, of course with its own flavor and tweaks.
So yeah, its sort of a request and a heads up to all you Sparkites out there, I think the architecture in Dead Space is worth a look and is hopefully inspirational for your endeavors.
And if you make a Dead Space-esque map, you can be sure I'd love to play it.
Here's some images of the game for reference:

I played it part way through, wondering if this was the game that might make me like survival horror. It isn't. I'll return to it someday when I find out how to haxxor the AI system to ignore my presence. (Being invulnerable to most attacks with infinite ammo and stasis isn't enough, I'm a wuss against any NPC that leaps out of nowhere and tries to bite my face.)
One thing's for sure, this game had AMAZING sound. I mean when a creature crawled through the vents, you could hear the metallic echo reverberate throughout the sprawling Ishimura corridors. It really made me think of NS2 the whole time. There were a lot of 'dynamic infestation' areas where the weird bio-stuff grew all over the place. And the mappers really made you feel like you were on a huge marooned space cruiser, with constant space-tech themes, detailed signs/navigation identifiers, views of space (and the outside of the ship) through the windows, and malfunctioning equipment/lights etc.

I really hope the NS2 devs get a chance to play through this game (preferably on a PC with surround sound and top-notch graphics, also with the lights off ;) ) because it truly is a prime source for inspiration.
PS: people ragged on the PC version for shoddy controls...get over it, just turn off mouse acceleration, v-sync, and up mouse sensitivity and enjoy an immersive experience. Rarely do you have to use the inventory system mid-battle, so I had no qualms over the controls.
