Spark SLI Users

Hey UWE and Forum members,
Just thought I would make some remarks about performance and SLI with the recently released spark editor.

I have a 8800 GT SLI Setup and the game runs wonderfully. To get it to run well, one has to add the game profile to Nvidia Control Panel. It will show up as the crysis profile. Change the SLI frame rendering to Force Alternate Frame Rendering 2. Otherwise, the spotlights will flicker randomly and incessantly. With my set up, this nearly doubled my frame rate. BUT! Just so everyone Nvdia SLI user knows, updating your Forceware drivers to the latest ones 195.62 results in worse performance. (15 FPS loss)
That is actually pretty traumatic. So in the mean time until a better profile and rendering solution is set up for Spark, I recommend using the previous beta drivers (195.39 I believe). Just a quick FYI. Enjoy Spark!

    By the way, I also have a 8800 GT, just not in SLI. I have had no problems at all (other then known bugs). No crashs, or flickering lights, and good pref too.

    That's good to know, I have 2x 9800GT's in SLI and had the flickering problem. I ran it with only 1 card and got perfect performance, but I also am running a core i7 920 overclocked with 6 gigs of ram.

    Well that's good to know. My GTX 380 x2 Tri-SLI with core i7-960 oc'd to 5.5ghz on 16gb of ram will run it just fine I guess. (not really)

    hah, wasn't trying to ###### wave just trying to say the program seems to be more cpu dependent than graphical.
