Question Regarding Arms Lab And Observatory

<div class="IPBDescription">do upgrades stay?</div> For the arms lab, if I upgrade weapons and armor with it for example, then I recycle the arms lab later (or if it is destroyed) do the upgrades stick?

Same question applies to observatory

    Off the top of my head, I think that upgrades do stay. Some things, like scanner sweeps from the observatory, need a functioning one to work.

    Yea I would assume your upgrades for weapons and armor stay even if the building is destroyed, it's that you need it up for some weapons. An observatory is needed for scanner sweeps, you have to have at least one for it to work, I don't think that motion detection still works if you don't have any working but I imagine it would come back online if you build a new one.
