You should focus on hosting prefabs as well. Maps can be made much quicker if there is a large library of pre-built rooms, door frames etc for people to use.

    Something I suggest:

Use a CMS system like joomla (by far the best) for site management. You may also want to get a proper domain name (e.g. sparkly.org). People don't seem to take .tk sites too seriously. Should only cost you about $10 per year or so.

Just use joomla, there are thousands of quality add-ins you can use to customise your site. Plus there are also thousands of free skins that you can download and edit to your liking. It's what I used for my community site and it is so easy maintain and update (plus it is very secure). I Used joomla for my front end and phpbb3 for my forum. The best of both worlds!

Er, I personally don't think it's that great but that's just me. I would focus less on the colour of things at the moment (the prosilver2 default them,e is good enough) and start work on the main site. A theme for the forum can come later.

If you do decide to go the way of joomla (something I highly recommend) make sure you have a look a rokbridge which will sync the authentication and users across the two systems.

If you're studying web development you may aswell write your own CMS, you'd learn alot more from that?
