Just messing around with some of the content to see what is what. <a href="http://www.cubeupload.com/files/7dcc00ns2testmap.png" target="_blank">http://www.cubeupload.com/files/7dcc00ns2testmap.png</a>
edit: Sorry guys thought you had a image scaling plug-in.
After seeing those first images, I went back to my default room and added some more props, took me about 5 minutes. imagine if I had a week to work this out. <a href="http://img696.imageshack.us/i/details.jpg/" target="_blank"><img src="http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/8682/details.th.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /></a>

i would probably have something decent by now, but i manage to crash it when a scene starts to look good.

Yeah i figured out how the spot worked a bit late, unfortunately :P I'll try these for another room. Here the problem was that the ceiling is really high and the reactors are hindering the lights from reaching the ground. Also it's supposed to be water in the lowest parts ;..

damn that brings back memories :P
This engine has a lot of potential, so far it all looks very nice! I'm currently working on, well guess what map XD
Starboard skylight... Anyway, is there an environment sky renderer or do I have to fake it with photoshop atm? (and yes I know I have to read the manual still :P My prev questions were in there as well...)
<a href="http://imgur.com/Gp4k6.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://imgur.com/Gp4k6l.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /></a> This one with the end of the hall dark.
Now that I look at this picture actually... cropping out a thin line at the bottom and top could make this a pretty cool NS2 promo screen (of course I'd extend the end of the hallway and include an onos standing there roaring at the marine ... similar to the NS1 2.0 Beta promo video).

I'll start working on a map now that I know how to use the basic features.
I'm making a sick looking hallway right now :) Pics shortly.
