Paranormal Activity...

<div class="IPBDescription">Haha...</div>Ok so Paranormal Activity, was an awesome movie. I didn't find it at all scary. I found the idea of the events in the movie taking place and how they took place awesome. The idea of this taking place while you are trying to catch the thing that is haunting your household with a camera. Also just the way they did the effects were awesome in their own right. I mean they only spent about $12,000 on the movie but it was an awesome movie. Now again I didn't find this movie scary, in fact I found it funny. Not from the movie itself but from the audience. The reactions, the screams, the sounds people made as they lost their breath, and the comments after the scenes were priceless. So if you are gonna see this movie, firstly take people that jump or get scared easily and secondly go when the movie theater is full; trust me the laughs you will get out of that part is worth the money.

Also, bring someone of your preferred gender who will squeal and cling to you. Always fun.

Well, I'm pretty jumpy, but I'm not sure if I'm a gender anyone prefers.

I was pretty terrified by this'un. the fact that it had basically no special effects made it seem more real and therefore more scary. much moreso than the Blair Witch which tried to do the same thing back in the day.

I'm planning to leave to see it in like 10 minutes, but I don't have any friends, so hopefully it will be a full theater. It's a matinée though, so probably not.

I'm a Rob'o'sexual, would you like to see this film with me? It's so difficult being neither hetero or homosexual. Finding a good Rob is hard work.

that article sounds like someone qq'ing because they got tricked into thinking fiction was real. Since when is a movie provoking conversation a bad thing? I give them props for a solid marketing mechanism (and solid movie) that doesn't rely on explosions and star power to succeed.

She wasn't tricked into thinking it's real (the whole point of the JREF is to prove that ghosts (amongst other things) don't exist), she's annoyed that the makers are trying to convince people that it is real (according to her, anyway, I've never heard anyone claiming it's real).
