Dedicated Servers

I am not sure if this has been posted or whether there has been a discussion on servers for ns2 as i could not find any in a search but has any information been released to the public regarding servers for this game. I was having a look at hte price of dedicated gaming and the four servers i have which are quad core cpus, 8gb of ram, dedicated 1gb link (not shared) and tons of storage space. I am looking to host NS2 games on these but obviously with no release date i would like to know what platform will the server run on, possible resource requirements?

    You should probably add in if there will be support for both Linux and Microsoft server OS. I would expect the requirements for NS2 to be similar to hosting a TF2 or Orange Box server, even though the games are on different engines.

    1gbit dedicated? Do you already run a company?

    I don't think we'll get a solid idea of resource requirements until the alpha/beta (presumably the server would be released in conjunction with the client...)
