No crosshairs

After the latest steam update, all ns configs were wiped clean. No keys were bound, nick was "Unnamed", etc. But that was easy enough to fix. Crosshairs however are not on the other hand. I tried all the available options, but I still don't see anything. This makes playing impossible. Does anyone know what I can do to make them show up again?

    First, I got no Idea if they are the right files, but I guess.


    1. Download:

    2. unzip and move the files to:
    \Steam\steamapps\(youraccountname)\half-life\ns\sprites


    Ofcourse you could reinstall NS if the problem isn't missing files.

    Or maybe try cl_customcrosshair 1 in console


    · The crosshair choices are available in the advanced multiplayer options.
    · Can also be selected with cl_customcrosshair 0|1|2|3|4.
    · Type one and two include spread indicators, while type three and four stay the same for all weapons.
    · Type zero selects the crosshairs from 3.1.
