In the "Concerned Fan of presious NS" thread, the topic of demographics briefly came up. Only the specifics of our professions was discussed but I would like to expand on that. I would like to find out the average age and the most common occupation of our community. This is effectively unauthorized market research for UWE. I am more interested in satisfying my curiosity though.

<b>Occupation:</b> Student (Computer Science), starting in January 2010.
<b>Other Qualifications:</b> Self-trained in programming, 5 years. Self-trained in Web Design, 1 year.
<b>Aspirations:</b> Web or Software Programming with Game Programming as a hobby.

Aspirations:To live a decent life, at least until NS2 comes out at which point I can die a happy man. Also, find a wife, raise a family, but those are secondary concerns.

Occupation: Student - Doing pre-studies for University. Where I'll be studying Astrophysics(Starting in autumn 2010 if all goes well.).
Other Qualifications: Devoted Musician and song-writer.
Aspirations: Immortality! Also, unlocking the secrets of the universe. (No holding back here!)


I'm starting to see a pattern here. Sadly I wont be continuing it because I have no programming skills.. yet. (Picking up a course on the basics of programming on the side of my other studies)
