    You mean you don't see the problem when only one person goes gorge, while apparently skilled players save for fade despite the fact there are only two RT's and no chambers, and still think they're in measure of yelling at the rest of the team because they caught up their point deficiency the instant they hit 50 res?


    I have no problem with people being more skilled than me, there are a ton who are (and most of the time I'm actually grateful there's a skilled fade), but people shouldn't hinder their team to be on top of a scoreboard.

    I have another idea. Make it work like in Tremulous (1.2). Do away with kills. Instead, assign score based on damage dealt.

    In Tremulous, if 3 people shoot an alien, once it dies the score and cash is split proportionally between the 3 players.
    Overall, it would look like this (example)

    Alien is worth 150 score points
    marine 1 deals 20 damage and gets 20 score
    marine 2 deals 50 damage 50 score
    marine 3 deals 80 damage 80 score
    ... once the thing actually dies.

    There could be an extra bonus - for actually killing the player, because as long as a player has 1 hp he can generally operate at maximum killing capacity, so actually killing people is useful. And structures would be worth much more.

    As someone mentioned that's a "curse in disguise". Players would be encouraged to go off on their own since they could get as much res from killing one skulk(assuming 3 res) as killing 3 with 2 teammates.
