Scripting Suggestion -> event-driven alias execution

When certain events occur, the game should automatically execute an alias.

For example, when a marine steps into the CC, it should automatically execute the alias "Commander."

When a player joins the marine team, or leaves the CC, it should automatically execute the alias "Marine."

When a player joins the alien team, it should automatically execute the alias "Kharaa"

When a player changes lifeform to become a skulk, it should automatically execute the alias "Skulk." The same thing would happen for every other lifeform.

This way, players can set up aliases so their binds can be changed automatically whenever one of these events occurs. A player might want his side mouse button to be "slot 2" when he's a marine, but "jump" when he's an alien.

If this isn't already planned to be in the game I'd be surprised.

Yeah itd be dumb not to, or at the very least separate key maps for each life form. Maybe not in the menu since that would be really overwhelming for nubs :P but perhaps separate config files in the directory so that those who wanted different set ups for each life form had the option.

I like the idea of separate CFG files for each class/lifeform and for the commander positions that are executed as soon as the player changes class.

That would be easier for players to set up than having aliases that execute automatically.

It might also get around the blocks that some servers put on scripting.
