Besides, if someone wanted to seriosuly debate politics why talk about the successful cash-for-clunkers program when they can talk about the much more important <a href="http://www.factcheck.org/2009/08/seven-falsehoods-about-health-care/" target="_blank">health care reform bills</a>.

    So you're saying you don't want the gov't to monitor how the dealership spends gov't grants? If you accept gov't money you have to expect oversight; it's the same reason a lot of banks didn't take the bailout money.

    Basically Depot what you want is that in a Government-funded operation, the Government should not be allowed to legally step in in the case of a shady dealer screwing people out of this money? This is a standard disclaimer which basically states "if you break the law we have every right to catch you" and affects the layman as much as the movement of a butterfly's wings.

    I'm not even an american citizen, but i even i get the jist of what beck's saying. But he's totally wrong. From what i gather, this disclaimer is on the dealership's version of software, not the end user. The dealer who is brokering the cars for the US government is having his computer scruitinized, not the end user. for average joe soap this means that big government is not snooping on him and may proceed to remove tinfoil hat. In my book, any business entering into dealership with government, except in matters of national security, must have complete accountability. The nature of computers and their ability to perform the quickest of "slight of hand" trick's with taxpayer dollars means the federal government need's this kind of visability.

    But even with all of the above, people will still decry and moan. If the government had not imposed such heavy handed legalese and backdoors into the program and millions got stolen or cyphoned off, you yanks would still be screaming "why didnt you watch them closer?!"

    Anyways, isnt this the same guy that said obama hates whitey and has subsequently lost 90% of his sponsors?
