    I hope they drop the pirate character in some shots and he's only in as a "publicity" stunt.

    It told me things about cake and the companion cube, but I don't remember anything about a Ted.

    It's in the saferooms, a room in which you are typically safe. Safe in the L4D sense meaning not having to shoot zombies.
