    Apparently. Some sources list him as "in critical condition," supposedly, but it seems like he is in fact dead.

    I'm surprised you mentioned drugs and surgeries and not the greater scandals and rumors surrounding his behavior towards children. His father's treatment of him probably didn't help his own relationship with kiddies.

    Funny thing out of his death is the world realised that Facebook, Twitter, Google and Youtube all failed to stay alive consistently following his death due to too much traffic. The world was not prepared for such an event, clearly.

    I doubt it. The income from at-event "OMG LAST GIG EVER!!!!" merch would probably have been formidable. Not to mention DVDs, a live album, &c., &c. I'd have thought "they" would stand to make more money from him being alive to perform, especially since they make the same money off those tickets dead or alive.
