Recording your matches for playback
Demo recording in the Half-Life engine was great for playing back matches for analysis. This is, of course, accomplished by recording the packets coming in and out of the server/client, not actual video, in order to playback into the engine at a later time and watch what was going on.

It would be great to have this (at some point) added to NS2's engine. Especially sense analyzing a match, noting your mistakes and your enemies strengths, is key to improving your skill in a strategical game like NS.

Edit:
Hmmm... I see this has pretty much already been asked here and here several months ago... Oh well, time for a topic-rez thread. hehe

I always used the Recording feature in Half-life/NS1 Simply because It did help out on me noticing that maybe I should have done this instead of that. Like waiting more and listening instead of rushing thinking only one person was there. Or maybe if I attacked one more time I would have gotten him, ect.

If not For purposes of analizing yourself for flaws, you can always just use that to record your matches just for the fun of it.

What about NS2TV servers and NS2TV recordings?
